We are unfortunately not able to arrange for you to come see our green friends at our Streetgrowers greenhouses (queue the sad trombone!) but rest assured, we only ship out plants that are healthy and thriving!

What about picking my order up?
Streetgrowers does accept pick-up orders upon request, from our Montreal location drop points in Ville-Marie (Cité2000) and Petite-Italie (Jean-Talon Market). If you wish to pick up a plant you have ordered, please let us know by sending a message to We will need three hours notice during a business day to have your order ready (24hrs if we don't have at our drop points).

Up to you! Our product pages have plenty of options for all of the plants that we offer. We don't automatically bundle a plant with a pot because we believe you should have options (who doesn't like options!). So make sure to add the pot that fits nicely with the rest of your home, or don't! Up to you! :P

After years of research and design, STREETGROWERS has put together a user friendly home and office growing system that is perfect for any person that wants to grow healthy FRUITING, RARE & TROPICAL PLANTS! A solid ocean recycled plastic cover-pot, including our famous air pruning roots grower pot (technology Brevettato made in Italy with recycled plastic) which guarantee healthy root development with full oxygen exchange aeration for the plant! In the HAPPY ROOTZ pot technologies, the plant will never root bound it also means that you will never have to re-pot your tree for at least 2-3 years. It will naturally dwarf your plants, help it grow faster and healthier and produce, for some plants, fruits quicker!

**Some remote areas of Canada can only be serviced by air or boat delivery. In these cases free shipping is not available and extra shipping charges may apply. If extra shipping charges are required for your order we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to pay the additional fees or cancel your order. If you don’t respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled. Streetgrowers reserves the right to make any necessary changes to this service at any time without prior written notice.

Streetgrowers delivers house plants to all Canadian provinces in Canada! If you aren't able to place an order to your address please reach out to us for help!

If you reside in Nunavut, Northwest Territories or Yukon please reach out before placing an order as special rates may apply.

Great question! We have the perfect answer. At Streetgrowers we've developed a special box for shipping plants. This box will protect the soil from falling out of the pot. It also makes sure your plant stays snug and well protected from forces on the box such as dropping or tipping over. We have a very low incident rate because of this box but accidents happen. Send us a text or e-mail if you are not satisfied with your delivery and we will make it right.

For local orders (Montréal) your orders will be shipped in our beautiful Croquette, the amazing Streetgrowers VIP tiny car. Orders outside of our local delivery area will be shipped via Canada Post, FedEx or UPS. You can find the status of your Canada Post, FedEx or UPS order via a tracking code that will be sent to you when we fulfill the order.

Delivery times vary per province. Most deliveries to Montreal and Québec will take an average of 2-3 business days from the day after you place your order*. Deliveries to the rest of East Coast may take between 3-7 business days. Deliveries to other provinces typically take one or two days longer**. We get a lot of questions about plants being in a box for extended periods of time. Please know that plants are resilient and have no problem being in transit for 7 full days. Most plants will even still be fine after two weeks!

*All orders are shipped on business days only (Monday to Friday). Expect your package to be shipped out in the next 4 business days* following the day you place an order. Should the delay be longer, we will contact you to let you know!


Orders to the city of Montréal and Québec

Orders go out to customers in Montréal and Québec on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If your order is on our next delivery route, you should receive an email with a time slot the evening before your delivery is scheduled to take place. If the time does not work for you simply send us an email via to reschedule!

Orders to other cities and communities

If your order is fulfilled via Canada Post, FedEx, or UPS, you will receive a tracking code via email. You will receive an email with the tracking number as soon as a courier picks it up from our warehouse.

Nobody likes waiting, especially if one of your green friends hit a snag on his way to you! Surge volume at the post office or the occasional sorting issue at a sorting facility may delay your shipment for a little bit but your plants will typically be absolutely fine in their Streetgrowers box. Most of our green friends can spend 6 days in their box
without any issues and a few days beyond that typically isn't an issue either. Rest assured: if you are not happy with the condition of your plant upon arrival, let us know and we promise to make it right!

Sales tax are determined according to the shipping address.

Example: If your billing address is in Québec but your shipping address is in Ontario, Ontario sales tax will be charged. We do not charge sales tax for International Orders. (Presently Not-Availlable)

Yes and no! We can only ship to one address per order but we can create custom orders for business customers! Plants make a great gift to new hires or as a thank you gift to colleagues or business relations. We would love to help you bring some more green friends into peoples lives :)

Presently, We don't offers international shipping.

Yes! Local pick up is available. Select the option to "local pick up" when checking out. You will receive a notification from us when your order is ready for pick up.

Pick up times are Mon-Fri 10AM to 9PM for Ville-Marie and Mon-Fri 10-9 + weekends 11-9 for Petite-Italie.

Order plants, you will... but pay, you must! Are you wondering what accepted payment methods are at Streetgrowers? Have a look below. We hope that you can find your method of preference. We currently accept all major credit cards and paypal for payments. Please reach out to us if you would like to pay using another method of payment and we will see if we can add it in.

We don't typically allow for payment cash on delivery (COD) but we may send you an invoice if you have a large business order. Please reach out to us to discuss the options.

Yes, absolutely! We use Shopify's secure payment system to ensure that all your information is kept entirely secure, confidential and safe.

No! Out of concern for the environment, all invoice details will be sent to you electronically via the email you provide.

Everything about returns and warranty

Uh oh, did your new green friend break something? Delivery not gone as expected or just not happy with your plants? We've listed our FAQ on returns below. Can't find an answer to your question? Send us an email or reach out on WhatsApp, we are here to help!

Excellent question!
All of our green friends have a warranty period of 1 months. But what exactly does that mean? Well, let us explain!

Those pesky terms and conditions
We'll try to keep these short and simple, but there are a few conditions that need to be met to qualify for our Happy Plant Guarantee. In the spirit of TLDR, here's a short list that explains it all:

· Resist the urge to
Repotting generally isn’t needed in the first one or two years. It is a common misconception that you should repot your plants right away. Repotting can shock your plant’s root system and cause other harm. So, if you do decide to repot your green friends it will void the Happy Plant Guarantee. Just sayin!

· See anything wrong with
the plant? Please reach out right away. Don't wait until your plant has died before reaching out as there is often no longer a way to establish what happened and what caused it. We don't want to point fingers, of course, but if we can't establish a cause of death then there's usually no way to establish if the Happy Plant Guarantee applies.

· Oh! And pics or it didn't happen... Send us some photos (Email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) so our plant DOC can get in there for a closer look! See below (Pests, Plagues and the Plant Apocalypse.) for issues around

After we’ve given you some care tips, give your green friend some time to adjust to the new house routine. Plants are resilient creatures, so be sure to give your plants at least a 3 to 4 weeks to recover from whatever was hurting them. If you see no sign of further deterioration then we’re on the right track!

What happens if we can’t save your green friend…
If you've been faultless in caring for your green friend (okay...nearly faultless) and you've followed the steps above, but your green friend still didn’t make it, then we'll honor the Happy Plant Guarantee with a online shop credit.

Pests, Plagues and the Plant Apocalypse!
If you see pests/plagues within 2 weeks of receiving your plants please let us know immediately and we will send you a new one or issue a refund! Keep in mind that Pests can come from anywhere, so after 2 weeks, the Happy Plant Guarantee for pests does not apply. We use strict protocols to ensure that their facilities and plants are free of bugs and pests, but these little devils can still find their way onto plants from time to time so be sure to reach out when you see one upon arrival.

If you wish to return your plants or pots to us because you've changed your mind, please reach out to us within the first 14 days of placing your order. Here's what will happen next:

1- Once we receive your return request, we will issue a shipping label that you can print.
2- Pack your order securely using the same box that held your order. If you do not have the box, you are responsible for safe shipping back to Streetgrowers using your own packaging materials. Return Shipping Fees are to be paid entirely by the customer.
3- Return your goods within 14 days after you receive a return label from us.
4- Drop your order off at a Canada Post collection center.
5- As soon as we receive your returned shipment we will inspect all items and issue a refund equal to the value of the value of items less a 15% restocking fee (minimum $10).
6- The refund will be processed via the same method provided when you paid for your order.

Important note
We will process your refund using the same payment method you used when ordering your product(s). We reserve the right to delay payment to you until we have received the products back in our warehouse or until we receive confirmation of your shipment back to us.

If you want to cancel your order (and therefore terminate the agreement with us) please reuse the Streetgrowers box your order came in. This ensures our green friends find their way back to us in good health! If you've already thrown out the box, you may return the items in a different box at your own risk.

Return your order using the return label provided by Streetgrowers. Drop off your order at the nearest Canada Post location in your area.

If you wish to use another company to return your order you may do so at your own costs. We also ask you to contact us before returning your order with a different courier so we know what to expect.

Sit back, Relax, Grab yourself a beverage and take it easy! It is important to know that yellow or brown leaves are not usually a serious sign of decline. They may signal to you, the plant parent, that there is room for improvement, though! And we will gladly help you with that. Some plants will need some time to acclimatize to their new environment. As they get settled and adjust to new lighting, humidity and care routines, some leaves (and tears) will be shed! Don't fret, this is totally normal and no cause for concern. Aren't we all a bit stressed out after a big move? So is your plant!

But what about after a few weeks?
If your plant continues to develop yellow/brown mushy spots or brown crispy spots, it is often a sign that you are giving it a little too much or too little TLC. We can certainly help with that, just send us a note detailing your care routine and we can give you some tips! Make sure you are well aware of the plants' lighting needs, you are well on your way to beautiful growth of your green friends! Oh and don't forget, just with most other things in life, with plants too: patience is a virtue!

If you are seeing rapid decline of the majority of leaves on your plant, or some other distressing signs, do send us a note and we'll take a look together!

Oh no! If any part of your order arrives lost or damaged, we will be sure to make it right.

It is your responsibility to inspect your package and merchandise immediately upon reception. In rare cases items may get damaged during transportation. It is imperative to contact us within 24hrs to report any damage or defective products and make arrangements. Send us a note with pictures of the damages to or DM via Facebook/Instagram and we will send you the missing/damaged plants.
